How do I Start a Business in a Saturated Market?
One thing I have noticed is that starting a business is hard. I mean obviously of course its difficult, but one thing I've noticed is that a lot of the time we don't really get the full scope of what is required until you actually start to work at it. A lot of times people create this "5 Step Plans" or say to "Buy This Course" to find success in the land of business, but in all honestly no amount of advice that will truly help you understand what YOU need to do to find success in business. No single person is the same and all of us have unique capabilities that can provide value in whatever community you are in. Thats why even though the business market is technically saturated there is really no one that has the same personality as someone else, so use that as your value. At least thats what I think... :)
While I did say there is no one singular plan that will catapult your business to stardom I did create a list that has at the very least helped me organize my thoughts;
Business Overview (Name, Concept, Mission Statement, Description)
Research (Audience, Competitors, Trends/Demand)
Revenue Model (Pricing, Expected Revenue Streams, Profit Margins)
Plan (Setup, Materials/Services Needed, Timeline)
Marketing Strategy (Social Media, Ads, etc.)
Financial Plan (Cost, Monthly Expenses, Break Even Point/Profit)
It has allowed me to making productive steps in the right directions to starting a business and hopefully it can be the same for you. The last thing I want to say is this... STOP SAYING YOU WILL DO IT LATER. You are the other factor keeping yourself from starting your business just to it!!!
